Ripsowing - Why and How Demonstration

Learn about using the Vermont Ripsower, a combined subsoiler, seeder, and liquid biostimulant injector, for improved yield, livestock performance, soil formation, pollinator care and total infiltration farming. There will be classroom presentation and discussion, field work with the implement, and investigations in the soil.

We will be at Doe’s Leap Farm in East Fairfax, VT with Abe Collins and the Land Care Cooperative crew. This event is brought to you by the Franklin County Conservation District in partnership with Vermont Grass Farmers’ Association, UVM Northwest Crops & Soils Program, and the Land Care Cooperative. The workshop is free, but please register by contacting Lauren Weston at Franklin County NRCD by phone at 802-528-4176 or by email at info@FranklinCountyNRCD.org
